Delete your account

Permanently delete your account, and understand when deleting also wipes your whole company's jobs and inventory data.

You can permanently delete your account from Settings. This can't be undone, and in one situation it deletes more than just your own account, so read this before you tap the button.

Important: Deleting your account is permanent. If you're the last member of your company, all of that company's jobs, items, photos, and inventory data are deleted too. Export anything you still need first. See Finalizing and exporting.

How to delete your account

  1. Open the Settings tab.
  2. Scroll to the Account section. Below the buttons you'll see the reminder: "Deleting your account is permanent. If you're the last member of your company, all of its jobs, items, photos, and inventory data are deleted too."
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. A confirmation appears titled "Delete your account?" with the message: "This permanently deletes your account and can't be undone. If you're the last member of your company, all of its jobs, items, photos, and inventory data are deleted too."
  5. Tap Cancel to back out, or Delete to confirm.

Result: Your account is removed on the server, the app signs you out, and this device's offline database is erased. You're returned to the signed-out screen.

What's irreversible

  • Your account is deleted and can't be recovered. You'd have to create a new one to use the app again.
  • If you're the last member of your company, the entire company workspace and everything in it, every job, item, photo, and inventory document, is deleted along with your account. There is no undo.
  • Deletion is server-enforced. It doesn't just remove the app from this device, it removes the data from the cloud.

Note: If your company has other members, deleting your account removes only you. The company's jobs and data stay with the remaining members.

Before you delete

  • Export any inventory you still need. Once the data is gone it can't be retrieved. See Finalizing and exporting.
  • Hand off the company first if you're the last admin. If teammates should keep working, make sure someone else is set up before you delete, so the workspace isn't wiped out from under them. See Team and roles.
  • Just switching devices? You don't need to delete your account. Sign out on the old device and sign in on the new one, your data re-syncs from the cloud. See Manage your account.
