Floor plans in the PDF
Scanned room layouts print as a top-down Room Layouts appendix in the exported inventory, each with its measured dimensions.
The exported inventory includes a Room Layouts appendix: a top-down drawing of each scanned room, printed at scale with its measured dimensions. It's the paper record of what the LiDAR scan measured on-site.
What prints

The appendix opens with the heading Room Layouts and the subtitle:
"Measured top-down layout captured during the LiDAR scan."

Each scanned room prints as its own boxed, top-down drawing: the wall outline (with doorway openings shown as dashed gaps) and every measured furniture footprint, tinted by category.

Above each drawing is the room name and its overall floor size, for example
Living Room · 14 × 12 ft.
What the PDF layout does not include
- The PDF room layouts are top-down, not 3D. The interactive 3D view is for on-screen review; the printed inventory stays flat and top-down, the way a layout is read on paper.
- A room only prints if it was scanned. Rooms added by photo, voice, or by hand have no measured layout, so they don't appear in the appendix.
Where it sits in the document
Room Layouts is one of the appendix sections that follow the numbered item grid, after the Shipment Summary, Packing Summary, and Inventory Symbol Key. If condition photos are attached, they follow after. For the full section-by-section breakdown, see Export the inventory PDF.
Good to know
- Measurements match the screen. The printed layout is drawn from the same geometry as the on-screen plan, so a room's size on paper matches what you saw in the app.
- No vendor branding. Like the rest of the inventory, the layout pages carry the mover's letterhead only, never a Van Line Pro plug.
